This is a picture that my family sent to me. It is my dad holding a large toad (not frog) on a regular 10-inch paper plate. He does this whenever he finds a big one. :)

What's the difference between a forg and a toad, anyhow? :)This issue always confuses me.
ReplyDeleteThe practical (not necessarily scientific) difference between a frog and a toad is that the frog is slimy wet creature while the toad has a legendarily warty skin. This means that toads are dry dirty varmits, and frogs are simy nasty varmits. The basic difference is negligable. MC
